Jahanara fell backwards onto the pile of pillows on the bed. She took a few deep breaths, attempting to compose herself. A fresh wave of grief washed over her, and a tear threatened to escape from behind her eyelids, but Jahanara held it back. She rubbed her eyes a bit, then sat up. She was suddenly very dizzy--she sat up too fast. She heaved a deep sigh and waited for the light-headedness to go away. Once it was gone, she stood, more slowly this time.
Jahanara walked over to a large mirror/chest of drawers in the room. She gazed curiously at her reflection. her eyes were still red, but not that puffy; her hair was a bit frizzy, no doubt from a little static electricity; her cheeks were still wet with tears. She picked up a small towel residing on the top of the short but wide chest that supported the mirror and dried her face. Her eyes were still red, and her cheeks were a little sticky from the salt in her tears. She found a wash basin filled with water and splashed some on her face, careful not to get it in her hair. She rubbed the cool water all over her face and then dried it with the towel. Looking back into the mirror, Jahanara was pleased with the effect. She took another deep breath and left the room, going back to the main foyer and found Zara. "Okay, I'm better now. What can we do to help magical creatures win this war? And do we have a single enemy to worry about?"

Zara smirked, looking straight into Ana's eyes. She then breathed in deeply and spoke seriously "The enemy must be truly located and identified. We are not sure what his strength is, but I am sure you have heard of Mengele."
She thought for a moment. "we must unite."

Jahanara nodded. She knew that by "we" Zara meant all the magical creatures in the realm. "But how?" she asked curiously. There were so many beings in Dreygen, how could they get everyone to unite?
