Kesne stood on the steps leading to the furnished caverns. Just looking up at them gave her chills. She could spot from here her old headquarters. The windows were merely chiseled out stone and the door a magically sealed slab of rock.
She walked forward and placed her hand on the door, then breathed on it and it glowed blue. In seconds the slab had moved aside and she passed into the dark cherry wood hall. The slab slid back into place withoout a sound and she moved on to her old rooms.
They were the deepest into the mountain. However windows, with sills wide enough for her dragon form to sit on, still reached her apartments. She looked around at the white and green bed, hung with curtains and walls of leaves around it, on the dais to her right. Then directly across from it her indoor waterfall with enclosed stone basin acting as a pool. She ran to her bed and jumped on it, happy to finally be home.
